What if I have more than one child at the school, how do I use Edulink?

All the children you have at the school will show up on your account. This would normally show in the top right allowing you to swap between your children.

What should be done with completed work?

Follow teacher’s instructions on Teams. They will either ask you to turn work in or save your work in a folder in Teams. If work is set on an online resource your teacher will be able to see when it has been completed.

If you do not have access to Teams then you can photograph your work and email it to your class teacher. Otherwise keep it in a folder and bring it to school on your return, contact your class teachers via email to let them know how you are getting on.

If you do not have access to the internet then call our school office and leave a message for your form teacher to let them know how you are getting on. They will liaise with class teachers.

Is all the work being completed to be marked by teachers?

Teachers will be providing mark schemes were necessary for students to self-assess their work. Teachers will be marking key pieces of work and any assessments set, these will be indicated by the teacher.

My child is worried they are going to fall behind.

Reassure your child they will not fall behind. Teachers will ensure when students eventually return to school that they make up for lost time. Contact your class teacher with any concerns we are here for help and support.

EduLink is not showing work has been received even though it has been submitted.

During this school closure teachers are not using Edulink to acknowledge if work has been received. Work that has been submitted will be acknowledged by teachers on Teams in the comments box.

If you have any questions regarding work that has been submitted then please email the class teacher.

How much time should my son/daughter be spending on work?

We appreciate home learning can be extremely challenging. Many of our teachers are home schooling their own children.  We advise that students complete as much of the work as they can but to not put pressure upon themselves.
