Increasingly employers, colleges and universities are looking more and more to take students who have widened their experiences and developed transferable skills. At Ormiston Chadwick we pride ourselves on having one of the most comprehensive enrichment programmes in the country. Students benefit from over eighty different extra curricular opportunities to opt into every week. This is possible because every member of staff delivers some form of enrichment activity.

It is our mission to ensure there really is something for everyone. Budding Performing Artists benefit from free instrumental lessons, Choirs, Dance companies and a minimum of three school productions a year. Students can also come to our Youth Theatre on a Saturday morning and gain their LAMDA qualifications.

Sporting enrichment includes everything you would traditionally expect (Rugby, football, cricket, netball etc. ) but we also include activities such as rock climbing, horse riding and martial arts.
We also offer a number of accredited enrichments, such as First Aid and our extremely popular Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Our staff also love the opportunity to further enrich the students experiences through School Trips. Your child will be offered the opportunity to partake in numerous trips throughout their time with us, including national and international travel. Many of these opportunities are funded or partially funded by the Academy as we believe they are such a vital part of our student’s school experience and development.

In addition we invite authors, artists, business leaders, scientists, performing artists and reputable companies to come and work with our students both in and out of curriculum time.
